J29117 operates Netball Hero and is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: netballheroapp@gmail.com.
Data we collect and why
- Account data (email address, password credentials, account type, club/seat membership) — to create and secure your account and enforce plan limits. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Match content (player names or labels you enter, positions, per-quarter statistics, scores, saved match history) — to provide the tracking, totals and insights features. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests in supporting customers.
- Usage and technical data (device identifiers, session/device id, IP address, error and usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention, single-session enforcement and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Use of data for AI purposes
All data held in the Service is stored on file by J29117 and may be used at J29117's discretion for artificial intelligence purposes, including analytics, model training and product development, unless you tell us otherwise. To opt out, email us and we will exclude your data from those purposes going forward. Where practical we use aggregated or pseudonymised data for this. Legal basis: legitimate interests, or consent where required by law.
Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors: hosting, database, authentication and analytics providers.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers such as legal and accounting advisers.
- Authorities or regulators where we are required to do so by law.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep account and match data for as long as your account is active and for up to 12 months afterwards, and billing records for as long as required by law. After that, data is deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database security so accounts can only see their own data, and single-session enforcement.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. Any analytics or marketing cookies, if introduced, will be optional and you will be able to manage them through your browser settings or an in-app preference.
